Gabriel Bisong, popularly known as MC Smily, is an indigene of Ntamante in Boki LGA of Cross River State. He was born into the family of Mr. Eban Bisong (late) and Mrs. Blessing Bisong. Smily is a graduate of the prestigious Lagos State University (LASU), where he earned a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
Beyond comedy and entertainment, he is a successful entrepreneur and professional. He is the CEO of Smily’s Kitchen and Smily’s Stores, a wholesale drinks business. He also works as a SCADA Supervisor (Engineer) at Opex Oil and Gas Resources and serves as a consultant in the oil and gas industry. In addition, he is the CEO of Smily Entertainment, a platform dedicated to delivering top-class comedy and entertainment experiences.
MC Smily is happily married and blessed with two children. He is a responsible citizen who proudly pays his taxes and continues to contribute positively to society through entertainment, business, and professional excellence.
